👏 Two years ago Lieferando Management wrongfully accused our colleague of sharing his account. When the LWC reached out to him with information he decided to sue the company. He got his job back a few months later and has been an active member of the LWC since then, supporting other workers to do the same.

Long distances

😡 Like many riders, Fouzia also had to face the problem of very long-distance orders. It created a lot of problems for her. She tried to reach out to the management and the coordinators but they never responded.

🎓 "I wanted to work full-time, but Lieferando said no!"

After finishing his studies, Harbir wanted to switch from part-time to full-time work. But Lieferando refused to increase his hours.

⚖️ Luckily, he reached out to the Workers Council and the Lieferando Workers Collective (LWC). They informed him about his rights under German law, and now he is fighting for the hours he needs!

💡 He knows that many riders, especially foreign students, experience frustrating bureaucracy in Germany—long waits, confusing rules, and dead ends. But the LWC is different. They are real people, Lieferando workers, who understand your situation and know your rights. You are not alone.

😡 Fired illegally!

One day, Muhammad delivered an order to the Hub—next thing he knew, Lieferando accused him of account sharing and fired him. He was shocked!

⚖️ But he didn’t give up. A friend told him to contact the Lieferando Workers Collective (LWC). With their support, he took Lieferando to court. Last week, he proved his innocence—the firing was illegal! Now, Lieferando must pay him 7 months of lost wages.

Shift plan?

👏 Jamal used to constantly get shifts assigned at odd hours which he did not want. He complained about it many times but got no response from Lieferando. This is when he got in touch with some LWC members of the workers council and learned about Fixed Shifts. Now he has a regular schedule every week and can plan his life much easier.

What's the LWC?

It is a group of couriers who help each other, form a network, and take care of each other, says Rob, a member of the LWC and a candidate in the upcoming Betriebsrat elections on the LWC list.

"I feel like I am part or something that is much bigger than me. Everybody can contribute their ideas and initiatives and we can be more than our individual parts."

The majority of the former Betrieibsrat (workers' council) at Lieferando were LWC members.

💸 400€ for Spandau Couriers!

After the Spandau Delivery Zone was merged with Berlin in May 2024, Spandau couriers were forced to travel much longer distances than before.

With the effort of the affected couriers and the LWC in the Workers Council we took Lieferando to court.

Together we won, securing a 400€ compensation for each Spandau worker under a so called "social plan", which was paid out to the colleagues in December 2024.
